Soft Signs of Deeper Health Issues

Sometimes our health issues show up in big ways that cannot be ignored. Other times, the signs may be more subtle or soft. They may seem fairly benign. They may even be dubbed as “normal” because they are so common.

Even if a health issue has been normalized or is common, that doesn’t mean that it is healthy. It doesn’t mean that you’re just prone to getting infections or having health struggles for no reason. There is always an underlying cause or multiple causes.

In this article, we will spend a little time getting to know the soft, but important, signs of deeper underlying health issues. We will see that even emotional outbursts or mood instability have physical reasons for their manifestation.

The first step to support our health and the health of our family members is to become more aware of the warning signs and have resources to find the best solutions to address the often-subtle warning signs of unaddressed deeper health issues.

The organization Documenting Hope has an extensive list of some of the soft signs to be aware of. You can find the full list here. Below is a partial list that is taken from their list to give you a taste of what types of behaviors or issues are considered soft signs of deeper underlying health issues.

  • Chronic runny nose or cough
  • Reoccuring sinus, strep, or ear infections
  • Mouth breathing or snoring
  • Rashes or patches of red, scaly skin (eczema)
  • Thinning hair and hair loss
  • Bedwetting (or daytime accidents in older children)
  • Dark circles under eyes, puffiness under eyes, or droopy eyes
  • Chronic thrush infections
  • Delays in walking, crawling, or talking
  • Sensitivity to lights, sounds, and smells
  • Growth delays
  • Weak muscle tone
  • Reoccurring urinary tract infections
  • Abnormal fatigue
  • Colic or excessive crying
  • Tics
  • Excessive gas or bloating

It’s important to understand that when a person is healthy, the above issues or soft signs are nonexistent, or if they do occur, they are very infrequent. These soft signs have underlying physical reasons for their manifestation.

Some of the possible underlying reasons that need to be explored and addressed are listed below:

1. Yeast/fungal overgrowth or microbiome imbalance, which has a connection to thrush, colic, mood instability, and urinary tract infections. Antibiotics may help a person feel better temporarily, but they will not address the underlying issue. In fact, antibiotic use can sometimes lead to increased resistance and increase in intensity of future infections.

2. Toxic metals, such as aluminum-based compounds and mercury compounds commonly used in vaccines, can enter the bloodstream and end up anywhere in the body. They can accumulate in the brain, affect the nervous system, and lead to a myriad of unwanted symptoms.

3. Microscopic or helminth parasitic infections need to be addressed. Parasites can play a role in problematic neurological issues, multiple sclerosis, developmental delays, and various other cognitive issues. Learn more about what parasites can do here.

4. Chemicals or chemical compounds that may have been breathed in, ingested, or injected also need to be assessed and addressed. Many chemicals are linked to gut dysbiosis, which may manifest as gas, bloating, and troublesome digestive issues.

5. Mold or mycotoxin waste products can also be involved in skin issues, brain disorders, cardiac issues, and digestive distress. Learn more here.

We now have a greater understanding of the many toxic substances and problematic organisms that can hinder the body’s function. In addition, we know that we have solutions to deal with these health-diminishing characters. God has given us all the tools that we need in the form of natural herbals, whole food supplements, nutraceuticals, homeopathic remedies, and nutrient-dense whole foods (like grass-fed beef, lamb, and bison, unprocessed clean dairy products, butter from grass-fed cows, good-quality olive oil, and unrefined organic coconut oil). When the body is given the tools that it needs to address and remove these problematic substances and organisms, it can begin to heal and enjoy life more fully without the hinderance of toxic substances wreaking havoc within it.

The key is to use our God-given tools effectively and to be patient. There is no quick fix. The body can only eliminate one batch of problematic substances and organisms at a time. Given the proper and consistent support to address one layer of the toxic load at a time, the body can heal and recover from many health issues. Relationships can be restored. Better function can be enjoyed. Quality of life and longevity can be improved.

The journey to greater health and wellness is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s a marathon worth running for yourself and for your kids if you want to enjoy the most optimal life possible, and if you want to have the peace of knowing that you are doing all that you can to help yourself or your child(ren) reach their highest potential.

I pray that through this article, you gain a greater understanding of the soft signs of the deeper root causes that, if left unaddressed, can contribute to the development of more serious health conditions and behavioral issues. I also pray that you are moved to further investigate how toxins play a large role in nearly all health issues, and that you will feel empowered to take steps to address the underlying causes of your struggles.

God’s blessings as you seek to know the true reasons why your child may be struggling with ongoing health issues or why you are struggling to be who God created you to be. I pray that you find the support that God has prepared for you to better deal with the root causes of your struggles.
