In addition to helping people with brain issues, I often have people come to me with other challenging health issues. Thyroid issues, some involving polyps or cysts. Blood sugar and blood pressure concerns. Digestive struggles – bloating, multiple sensitivities, “leaky gut,” bacterial overgrowth, ulcers in various areas, etc. Everything is interconnected. If a person is battling with digestive issues, it’s likely that they are or will eventually battle brain issues as well.
It’s exciting to hear clients tell me that their thyroid numbers are looking better and that measurements taken for thyroid eye disease (TED) have improved as well. Given that I do not diagnose or treat any illness, disorder, disease, or ailment, this is super exciting! I only support clients in addressing the underlying issues that are the priority for their bodies. The amazing creation that we call our body does the work.
It’s thrilling to hear that a client is now able to take college courses after having to drop out prior to doing detox work. I have even been called a “miracle worker.” To which I say that I am not. But I work for the one who does miracles. And our bodies are miraculous in how they were created to function and restore wellness when they are given the tools that they need. All praise to God.
The body, in its innate wisdom, is constantly protecting itself from toxic invader(s) that come in with the air we breathe, the liquids we drink, and the foods we consume. The body’s detoxification system is extremely effective at getting toxins out, but even the best system can become overwhelmed. That is when we begin to develop undesirable symptoms. If we can identify and address the underlying root causes, the body can begin to regain its balance and heal itself.
At a training conference that I attended during the first week of May, a young man named Dane Johnson shared his inspirational story. In his twenties, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease/colitis or irritable bowel disease (IBD). His body was literally wasting away - he was having over 20 bloody bowel movements per day, and he lost 65 pounds of healthy weight. Dane was put on a feeding tube, he was given multiple rounds of antibiotics and Prednisone over the course of four years. At the age of 26, his doctors told him that they would have to do a coloctomy and that he would need to have a colostomy bag for the rest of his life. To which he said, “No.” He was not going to let this happen to him.
Dane dove into natural solutions and healed. It was not a quick fix, but one that supported his body to remove what was hindering it and help him repair his digestive tract. Now he has been medication-free for 10 years, and he and his team are helping others overcome debilitating gut issues.
I share Dane’s story and snippets of other people’s stories to show you that there is always hope. In fact, there is a lot of hope. There are practitioners scattered across the country, ready to help people by using natural solutions that support the body’s ability to reclaim better health. You too can step into your power and support your body naturally to reclaim its health.
We have all seen how cuts heal. Even very damaged tissue and broken bones can heal. Lumps come, and lumps can go away. Areas of the body can become swollen and inflamed when the body is dealing with injury, but as the body heals, the inflammation serves its purpose and then goes away. This happens externally and internally. The body is truly amazing. We can give thanks that we are truly fearfully and wonderfully made. If inflammation isn’t going away, then the body is telling us that it needs additional support. Please find someone who can help you sort out what support your body is seeking.
So, what’s the point?
Because our bodies are created with so much innate wisdom, I believe that the best way to help the body heal from any chronic issue is to work with the body, not against it. Supply the body with the tools that it needs to remove harmful invaders that are hindering its ability to function properly, and support the body with the necessary healing herbs and nutrients that it needs. Then step back and let the body do what it does best. Seek balance. Seek healing. Seek to thrive.
At the heart of health is acknowledging who we are and who we are not. We are created beings who have been given an incredibly powerful system that can heal and rebalance itself. When we support the body appropriately and then get out of its way, we will see its God-given power kick in.
What you believe and in whom you trust truly matters.
If you believe that something in your body is broken or not working right, then you will likely succumb to a mechanistic repair ideology. You may go along with procedures that remove parts of your body, thinking that it will help you. You may not even consider that your body could possibly be given the tools to repair itself and address the issue.
My belief comes from years of my own health journey, in addition to working with and observing other people deal with health issues. I have seen what works, and I have seen what seems to cause more harm than good. It is exciting to see that more people are realizing the power in naturally supporting the body, without introducing more foreign substances.
More people are starting to realize that what we are doing in regards to managing health issues is not working. The incidence of nearly all types of disease is on the rise. We are among the sickest people in the world, yet we think we are being given the most advanced care. Something doesn’t add up.
For decades, most of us have been thinking that we were eating fairly well and feeding our families a fairly healthy diet. Now, as more information is coming out, we find out that many foods that we buy at the grocery store contain toxic ingredients that have been banned by many other countries. It’s hard to be well and feel well when we are consuming poisonous substances. Agencies that we thought were protecting us, aren’t.
You don’t have to look to hard to find a list of foods that are currently banned in other countries, but these food products are served up to us in the United States. Here are a few foods that are banned from other countries: Wheat thins, Coffee Mate, Ritz crackers, Pillsbury biscuits, Rice Krispies, Stove Top Stuffing, Honey Bunches of Oats. These are only a few of the items that other countries won’t allow into their food supply. Some of the foods contain toxic ingredients like trans fats, fat substitutes, BHT, potassium bromate, genetically modified organisms, and/or chemical food colorings.
These are just a few of the toxic chemicals that have been accumulating in our bodies. I encourage you to do some research of your own. You will see that there are literally thousands of chemicals. Some toxic chemicals and parasites are linked to cancer. Many other harmful chemicals and parasites can lead to inflammation, neurological issues, and digestive problems. Wouldn’t it be fun to see how many of the cancers and disorders are prevented or go away if we tackled the presence of chemicals and parasites that are trapped in our bodies?
It is promising to see that there is a step in the right direction happening. Since the presence of poisonous chemicals has been brought to light in 2025, there has been some action being taken to require that certain toxic chemicals be removed from our food supply. Some states are stepping up in other ways too. For example, Utah is going to stop allowing toxic fluoride chemicals in their drinking water.
Given how amazing our bodies are at healing and restoring balance, we can overcome great health challenges. But we need to accept the hard truth along with the exciting truth. We have unknowingly been poisoning ourselves. That is hard to accept, yet so freeing.
There is so much that we can do.
We don’t have to accept the idea that we should just remove parts of our body or use risky procedures to solve a problem. There are other options. We can step into our power instead of giving it away. We can walk away from practices or procedures that fill us with fear and strip away the truth about how our bodies are made to heal and restore. We don’t have to go on a diet, but wouldn’t it be good to avoid poisons in what we eat?
We can plant and care for a garden. We can buy from local growers. We can prepare our meals at home with fresh ingredients instead of using packaged products. We can look into more information about ingredients or products that are banned by other counties, so we can avoid buying these products and avoid feeding poisonous foods to our friends and families. (Granted – these are not poisons that you will die from immediately. These are stealth poisons in small amounts that over time can create big problems.)
We can find the support that we need from a trusted practitioner, one who is trained to help uncover the toxins that are likely involved in our health issues and who can provide the necessary natural tools to support our bodies in their effort to be well. After attending the conference along with hundreds of other practitioners earlier this month, I feel even more humbled and honored to be in a position to help people during these challenging times. We all know a lot of people who are hurting and seeking better solutions to their health problems.
What is also exciting is that methods of supporting people’s detoxification systems are continually improving. In the last two years, there have been tremendous strides made in targeting the underlying issues and providing comprehensive support which helps people rid their bodies of unwanted invaders, and support their bodies’ innate ability to heal themselves.
