The human body is very complex and interconnected. The health of the digestive system impacts the brain, as does the health of the liver, kidneys, and thyroid. Everything affects everything. Anything can affect anything. In order to best deal with troublesome health issues that just won’t go away, we may need a very comprehensive approach that supports the body in a wholistic way.

The approach I currently use has been developed over the course of more than a decade of seeking to learn how to overcome various health issues, like brain fog, fatigue, digestive distress, adrenal exhaustion, headaches, Lyme co-infections, and joint pain. Through my experience and extensive training, and through being mentored by wonderful practitioners, I am equipped to come alongside others and help them overcome their worrisome issues. Because of the comprehensive nature of my programs, I do not advise people to do them without the support of a trained practitioner.

I have found that the method that most efficiently and effectively moves the needle of health in the right direction honors how the body was created. The body has been created with an amazing ability to heal itself when given the support and tools it needs. Just imagine how your body could function if it wasn’t dealing with toxins that can impair your cells and affect your DNA. Imagine if you could remove the toxins that are the underlying reasons why your body is struggling to wake up feeling refreshed in the morning, meet the demands of life, and have a healthy digestive system that eliminates wastes daily without issue. Healthier skin, better digestion, more optimal weight, greater energy, and mental clarity can be enjoyed when harmful toxins are removed from the cells and tissues. I can assure you that it is possible. By supporting your body’s detoxification system in a wholistic way, you can achieve new levels of wellness and get at the root cause of many symptoms that plague people.

Here are the basic principles of Wholistic Comprehensive Detox support that guide my work with clients struggling with ongoing health issues:

  1. Support the body’s ability to eliminate regularly. This means we support the body’s natural elimination processes or its ability to poop every day. Not every other or every few days. If we aren’t going #2 every day, toxins may be getting into the bloodstream and systemically wreaking havoc anywhere in the body, including the precious brain.

  2. Support the body’s natural ability to produce energy or ATP (adenosine triphosphate). All of the transactions and cellular signaling that take place in the body require energy in the form of ATP. If the body is bogged down with toxins, which impair cellular and organ function, this can lead to disorders and potentially disease. Consider this: If the body had the energy and the proper tools and nutrients to remove the toxins that are the underlying cause of many disorders and diseases, it would do so on its own. More times than not, those of us who struggle with some ongoing health issue are lacking what is needed for the body to have enough energy to address the root causes. This is when it’s time to reach out for help.

  3. Test to determine what toxins the body is struggling with. With the clients I see, there are common categories of toxins that often need to be addressed. But each person has a different combination and amount of them. Some people have had major mercury exposure from dental work. Others have unknowingly been drinking contaminated water and eating processed foods. Then there are parasitic and bacterial infections that linger within the body creating imbalance in various regions or areas of the body. Advanced muscle testing techniques are a great non-invasive way to detect toxin stress. There are labs that can be run to detect toxins as well.

  4. Identify the priority offenders the body needs to address first. Since there are multiple toxic offenders that the body has accumulated over the years of life and that we have had since birth, we need to identify where we should start. Through years of experience and advanced training, I use methods to identify the best place to begin. For some, this may be a program to prep their body to be ready to do a wholistic detox program that targets their underlying stressors. For others they may go right to a comprehensive detox program that is tailored to their needs.

  5. Support the impacted organs and areas with the most ideal products for that person as needed. In order to equip the body with the tools it needs to release and remove the toxins that are trapped in the cells and tissues, one may need to give the body nutrient support specific to the areas that are affected by the toxins, so the impacted organs and areas have the nourishment to release, remove, and recover from the toxins.

  6. Additional support products are often needed to help the body bind onto and completely eliminate environmental and biological toxins from the body. These products can vary depending on what is being detoxed from the body. This may include targeted binders, kidney and liver support, and metabolic support.

  7. Eat healthy, organically grown foods and drink clean, pure water to support the body’s natural detoxification process and to minimize unwanted detox responses. While detoxing, seek to consume healthy foods around 90% of the time. Strive to avoid processed foods, grains, sugars, and food products from fast food restaurants. Instead, enjoy lots of organically grown fruits and veggies, along with healthy grass-fed meat and fats.

If you are a person who is overall healthy but want to be proactive, you may consider testing to help determine the priority products your body needs to maintain your health. This may include fatty acids, minerals, enzymes, hormone support, binders, or drainage support. If you are on a limited budget and want to do what you can to help your body have more optimal function, we can offer support for the top 3 – 4 products that could offer the greatest support to your system.

There are programs on the market that are more of a one-size-fits-all or one-size-fits-most type of program. These can be helpful for the general public. However, they may be more challenging for people who have sensitivities or who are not used to doing detox programs. These types of programs often are not comprehensive enough to address more challenging issues, but they can still be helpful for some individuals.

One of the critical components of success, I believe, is ongoing support to help people doing detox programs make the needed adjustments to their programs. I feel it is important that a practitioner be available to do this for their clients. Adjustments can make a world of difference!

As the body is detoxing, there are changes that take place. Adjustments in product dosing or usage of a product need to be made in response to the changing needs of the body. For example, sometimes more drainage support is needed if a person is constipated, or a person may need additional binders to fully support the elimination of the toxins they are releasing. The adjustments made to their program can really help them feel as well as possible while they are detoxing.

Another key element of detoxing that is important to keep in mind is that we cannot detox or remove all of the toxins from our bodies at once. We work on removing toxins layer by layer until the desired level of health is reached. At that point, we can go to maintenance programs and consider doing periodic detox programs to further optimize wellness.

Detoxing truly is a journey. The great thing about the journey is that you are in charge. You can detox and do life. If you have a vacation planned or have a lot of get-togethers on your schedule, you will likely not want to be doing a comprehensive detox program during that time. You can coast or maintain during these busy times of life. You can take a break from detoxing at any time, and you can jump back in later to continue to move the needle of your health forward when you are ready.

If you have a chronic or ongoing issue, I would advise finding a time to start and stay committed to your programs, so you can reach the level of wellness you are seeking. Then you can coast or maintain. Your body will reap the benefits of ongoing support, and you will feel the vitality that it releases in you, so you can better enjoy how fearfully and wonderfully you are made.

Blessings on your journey to greater wellness. You were made to shine!
